Confirm GlobalProtect is Connected
First, please confirm that the internet is available on the device and you have access to the internet.
Once internet access is confirmed, please check the GlobalProtect client. The GlobalProtect client is not shown on your taskbar by default. Click the ^ near the clock in the bottom-right area of your screen on the taskbar. The GlobalProtect client will be included in the tray. It looks like this:

Click on the GlobalProtect Icon

If the GlobalProtect client is prompting for a username and password, enter that information (ex: for Mark Luft - username: mluft and password: windows login pw) and click the Sign- In button. For your username, use your first initial and last name. DO NOT use your email address.

If GlobalProtect client does not show CONNECTED, then you should connect using the VPN. If you do not see the GlobalProtect client, please click the Start menu button and type, "GlobalProtect" to see if that populates from the Windows search. If it does not show from the search or after a device reboot, please email support@mckimcreed.com so we can configure GlobalProtect for your computer.
If GlobalProtect is connected, but you do not have your drive letters, follow the steps in this guide article, Map Drive Letters, for a guide on how to manually have the network drives mapped on your computer.
